Micro-Wedding vs. Full-Service Wedding: What’s the Difference?

Curious about the differences between a micro and a full-service wedding? This quick post outlines what sets these two services apart at Blushing Garden.

To put it simply, we categorize these services based on floral budget:
Micro-Weddings: Floral budget between $2,000 - $3,000
Full-Service Weddings: Floral budget of $3,000+

So, what exactly distinguishes the two?

Micro-Weddings

• Includes: Delivery and set-up
• Doesn’t include: Tear down. Clients are responsible for floral clean-up and any rental returns, which must be completed within 3 days of the wedding.
• Location: This service is only available to couples getting married at venues within a 30-mile radius of Iowa City.

Full-Service Weddings

• Includes: Delivery, set-up, and tear down. We’ll deliver all floral pieces, set up/install your arrangements, and return in the evening to handle floral clean-up and collect rental items.
• Site Visit: Full-service clients can request a site visit to discuss all floral details with us. Site visits are scheduled based on availability.
